A treadmill that takes you somewhere! A bicycle that doesn't crush your crotch and administer a cavity search over the course of your ride! Lopifit combines the wheeled efficiency of cycling with comfort of walking upright, without a saddle crammed into your genitals, in the GEN1 model of their electric treadmill bike.
Lopifit (say low-pie-fit) e-bikes replace traditional bicycle saddles with shortened, slimmed-down versions of the platforms and walking belts installed on fitness treadmills. With 5 gears to choose from, Lopifit riders can achieve speeds of up to 20MPH with a walking pace of just 3MPH.
Lopifit treadmill e-bikes have a 960WH battery and 350W Bafang engine. Range is about 50 miles per charge, dependent upon weather, terrain, and rider weight.
A Dutch creation, Lopifits are built with traditional bicycle parts and configurations right up to the treadmill component. Brake levers are still on the handlebars, and connect to disc brakes on the wheel assembly.
