Dead Space Plasma Cutter
Though restricted to 30mW and 1.5W laser rather than actual plasma energy, Patrick Priebe's replica Plasma Cutter from the Dead Space video game series will still singe a block of wood and sear through a trash bag, and make the deliverer of the singe and sear look like the Mac Daddy. Or the Daddy Mac. Basically, it's gonna make you jump, jump.
Priebe has a supercharged history of designing and fabricating an assortment of nifty weapons and man toys, including a pair of Laser Gloves and a Blade Driver Crossbow. While he isn't willing to give up his specs or trade secrets, he will sell his handmade Plasma Cutter to the highest bidder or girl who most closely resembles Ellie Langford. Contact him here, but keep in mind that the weapon took him 200 hours to build when submitting your offer or dying your hair brown and installing green replacement eyes.
The Dead Space prop employs 3, 14500 and 1, 8650 lithium ion cells to power its 3 green 30mW lasers for aiming and 1.5W blue beam for burning. It weighs about 4-1/2 pounds.
