Lampuga Air Inflatable Jetboard
It seems surfers have mixed feelings about motorized surfboards, and the Lampuga Air is indeed a motorized surfboard. Jetboard, if you're gettin' fancy. But more than a tool for the skilled and a means of becoming one with the ocean (or dead still lake if you like) the Lampuga Air is a water toy.
Less of a surfboard or a paddleboard, more of a jet ski or a Flyboard.
And from that angle we might say the Lampuga Air commits less of an offense to the open water - at least less so than most other noisy, disruptive, everyone-look-at-me options. It's also a lot more accessible in terms of portability and user-friendliness, the former thanks to its inflatable design, and the latter to a large, flat top surface, and handheld remote that allows riders to control their speed at all times.
The jetboard has an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. The motor has a 10kW capacity that feeds into the Air's jet drive, propelling the board forward when the drive sucks in and then forces out water to create a constant, powerful stream. The Lampuga Air can achieve top speeds of 30MPH.
Depending on driving style, user weight, experience level, and weather conditions, your ride on the Lampuga Air can last for up to 45 minutes per battery charge. The rechargeable battery is also removable for re-juicing in a 230V outlet.
