The pounder side of this weighty disc has a smooth, 3-1/4" surface made of triple-plated chrome over a zinc core. The tenderizer side adds circling rows of conical, but semi-blunt teeth to the mix. Together they break tough protein bonds, "thin up" your big fat 'roided-out chicken breasts, and prep meats for marinades, or the grill.
