Torpedo GB Pens
Torpedo GB Pens have one thing to say: Ready! Aim! Fire!...off a note letting your wife know you ate all the rest of the chicken parm. Sorry, She-Ra. :( :( Or maybe it's a letter of complaint to the last airline you flew. A reminder to stop by the dry cleaners on the way home from work. A love poem to your crush. I know, I know, we have email and text, alarms and push notifications to cover all of those communications and sentiments these days. Who needs a pen - and specifically, a pen in the shape of an underwater missile that costs up to $1,880 - anymore?
Welp, anyone, according to Torpedo GP, who wants to "rediscover the joy of handwriting." The Joy of Handwriting. Hmmm, is that also a book from the 70s? If so, it doesn't have quite the same ring to it as The Joy of Sex. Topic doesn't seem like it would be as engaging either.
Chastising aside, Torpedo GB Pens really are beautiful, as both writing instruments and pieces of art. Available in fountain, ballpoint, and roller ball models the pens pay tribute to the world's first self-propelled torpedo, deployed in 1866 in Rijeka, Croatia. The pens, aside from their hull, are all made by hand and feature 18K gold detailing.
