These Melting Rugs are affordable tributes to (i.e., cheap copies of?) Azerbaijani visual artist Faig Ahmed's original surreal designs. The funky runners come in a variety of colorways and sizes, including custom requests, all featuring Oriental, Anatolian, and Moroccan motifs that "melt" into a puddle of structural curves and undulating colors from one end to the other. The optical illusion culminates in two blobs that look like a fine pair of saggy testicles.
