Great. I always tell my mama that as soon as someone makes it so I can just wave a magic wand to get the job done I'll gladly help her clean the house. I never thought a magic wand that cleans the house was a legitimate possibility. Thanks a lot, Verilux. You asswipes.

On the plus side, at least use of their CleanWave Sanitizing Wand requires no scrubbing, wiping, pushing, lifting, or really any strenuous movement at all. A simple sweep of the 1-pound UV-powered device over almost any type of hard surface, ranging from countertops to keyboards to couches to mattresses, kills 99.9% of germs, viruses, allergens, flea/dust mite eggs, and odor-spawning bacteria.

The CleanWave technology is based on powerful ultraviolet light, and therefore chemical- and odor-free. Unlike many other household cleaners, it requires no "dwell time" to activate. The wand has a rechargeable battery and comes with an AC adapter.

I wonder if I can use a CleanWave to disinfect the people who choose to bathe themselves in patchouli instead of soap and water, and then invariably sit next to me on the bus or airplane. I think it's worth a try.
