Sud Stud Soap-Saving Shower Scrubber
The waste! The slime! The bacterial cultivation! And that's just from soap and loofahs, the things that are supposed to keep you clean! SudStud is a new shower scrubber, a soap sleeve and alternative to loofahs, washcloths, and the practice of rubbing bars of Irish Spring right on your privates.
SudStud is a stylized brick of soft, antibacterial silicone, dotted with 1/8" holes on its front and back, and a slit opening on one end for sliding in your favorite bar of soap. Stud that it is, the SudStud is able to grow to 200% its resting size, so it can accommodate most 6- to 8-ounce sizes and shapes of soap. If your soap is larger and awkwardly shaped, you can cut the bar in half to make it fit.
The primary benefits to using a SudStud include:
- Eliminate the friendly breeding ground for bacteria and mold shower loofahs provide.
- Extend the life of your bar of soap via the SudStud honeycomb design, which reduces soap-skin friction by up to 80%. This results in less soap used per shower, and longer-lasting bars, which you may not care about if you buy cheap 12-packs of Zest, but will appeal to those who shell out for the fancy brands. And I'm not just talking about the ladies, Duke Cannon and Jack Black loyalists.
- Get yourself a deeper clean thanks to SudStud's "frothier lather" talents.
