Pelican coolers are always heavy-duty, but most of them are also usually heavy-heavy. The Pelican Dayventure Sling Cooler reduces the grandaddy versions' size and weight, plus trades in their hard shells for a puncture-resistant soft cooler outer Pelican promises will still live up to its durable and icy cold name.
The Dayventure Sling is designed to hold up to 4 wine bottles or 12 beverage cans - 8.5 total liters of liquid. It has a wide top opening for quick access and a compression molded base so the cooler can stand on its own when not slung over your shoulder. Pelican has fitted the Dayventure Sling with a padded strap and rubberized carry handle for transport.
The cooler has a leak-resistant zipper, and Pelican says pairs best with their own ice packs to keep drinks cold all day long. The Dayventure Sling also has a side pocket for dry goods storage.
