Check It Out

Strips of full-frontal and full-side-al LED lighting for your head. Whether you're a hiker, a cyclist, or a devout follower of the EDM festival scene, you may be interested in the ONE80 Halo Headlamp's ability to illuminate all 180 degrees of the world before you. This 3-ounce band is lined with 20 rechargeable LEDs that simulate daylight both where your head is pointing, and over the full range of your peripheral vision. It eliminates tunnel vision and the need to turn and steady your head every time you simply want to glance at something to your right or left.

ONE80 Halo Headlamps wrap over the front half of your head to facilitate natural viewing of your environment in the dark. (ONE80 also makes a Trek Waist Lamp that has similar features). Their lithium battery packs recharge via a micro USB cable you can plug into an outlet, computer, or solar panel. Each battery pack is good for around 3 hours of battery life.

Constant battery life. ONE80 notes that, unlike AA or AAA packs that dim to dead as they run low, Halo LEDs will receive the same constant power from full to no charge.

ONE80 lamps also have interchangeable parts for swapping in a backup battery, or removing the LED strip and pack from the headband and using them to illuminate a tent. Headbands are also machine washable.

The ONE80 Halo Headlamp, as well as the Trek Waist Lamp seek Kickstarter backers through May 12, 2016.
