Hand Carved Millennium Falcon
Here's one Millennium Falcon Luke Skywalker couldn't look at and declare, "What a piece of junk!" Hand carved from white cedar wood, the replica freighter is just as detailed, only slightly less massive, and definitely way more beautiful than the original.
Kevin of Etsy shop Love My Custom Wood has hand carved several icons from the Star Wars universe, including solid Darth Vader and stormtrooper heads, an AT-AT walker, and a TIE Fighter. But the Falcon looks like the best showcase of his talent to me, especially if you check out his step-by-step process in the image gallery above. Taking it from hunk of wood to the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs could not have been an easy feat.
If you want to add the wood Millennium Falcon to your collection, or offer it up as an unforgettable Star Wars gift to someone else, better, uh, carve out a hunk of space for it. The ship measures an admirable 32-1/2" long x 21-1/2" wide.
