My 28th of September has just started looking a whole lot brighter. That's the date Tacopedia will be released for shipping. Tacopedia is--and how is it possible no one thought of this before?--an encyclopedic tribute to Mexico's tacos and taco culture. A joint effort between Deborah Holtz, Juan Carlos Mena, and Rene Redzepi, who probably all just teamed up so they could spend months of their lives eating tacos in the name of "research", Tacopedia includes 100 recipes for the best melanges of meat and heat one can slap between a folded tortilla.
Tacopedia accompanies its recipes with interviews, street and food photography, illustrations, graphics, and maps to provide a full, panoramic picture of the food and its people's lives.
