The Aqua Dew is the first waterproof speaker with Alexa far field integration. It connects via Bluetooth, and works just like your Echo or Echo Dot, without requiring you to yell across the room, over the sound of cascading shower water, to have Alexa change songs, tell you the weather, or wake up your brain with a morning Jeopardy! quiz. The Aqua Dew battery is good for 7 to 8 hours of continuous playtime per charge - almost as long as my ideal length of shower. The speaker also has an auto shutoff function that kicks in after 20 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.
