On the one hand I hate turning lights on when I have to take a leak in the middle of the night, but on the other hand my mama hates it when I miss the bowl. Or use the bathtub just to be safe. If you're like me, or if you have a legitimate outdoorsman's need for night vision, the Night Owl 5-Power Night Vision Monocular might be of assistance.

Its all-glass optics consist of objective and ocular lenses encased within an impact-resistant molded thermoplastic housing. The monocular has a single solid focusing ring and can be operated one-handed for 5x magnification and 500x light amplification. Night Owl's built-in columnated infrared illuminator is suitable for use in complete darkness, as well as to improve target (i.e., toilet bowl center) recognition in any environment. The model XM50 monocular has a 12.5-degree angular field of view and a 44' wide field of view at a distance of 200'. Lens diameter is 50 mm.

The Night Vision Monocular measures 7.45" long x 2.5" wide x 4.25" high. It requires 1 x 3-volt Type-123 lithium battery, which will last between 45 and 100 hours depending on infrared usage.
