Hot cakes and a hunk of ham on a cool morning car camping in the mountains. Blackstone's Tailgater Portable Grill & Griddle makes it possible.
Sure, "portable" here doesn't mean "portable" like it does in Ziv's Portable Smoker or Sunflair's Portable Solar Oven - you won't be folding down this BBQ-flattop combo to stuff in your pack. But its collapsible legs and assembly-free setup do make the Tailgater a viable option for grill-outs at the lake or park, longer camping trips, RV treks, and - can you smell fall coming? - tailgates.
The Tailgater has a dual cooking surface with independently controlled burners, 1 stainless steel H tube and 1 cast iron. The H tube outputs up to 15,000 BTUs, and the cast iron 20,000. Use them to cook different styles of grub, such as chili in the stock pot, and corn cakes on the griddle, at the same time. Different Blackstone package options also come with a Grill Box you can set over one of the burners to jack your cooking up to 500+ degrees.
The grill/grill box setup on the left and flat griddle on the right each have a 16" x 16" cooking surface for 512" total of culinary creation space.
Blackstone makes all-purpose cooking possible on all terrains with the Tailgater's 4 individually adjustable legs. They've also built the grill to take a schlepping with heavy-duty components including cast iron grill grates, a cold rolled steel griddle plate, and a powder coat finish over the entire unit.
