Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamp - Lit

One day, when LED and other energy-efficient lighting has successfully achieved world domination, we'll hold one of these Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamps up to our grandkids and, amidst an aura of great enchantment and longing for days gone by, tell them, "When my grandma was a yout', she used oil to light her ramshackle hut, and when I was a yout' we screwed these evil incandescent bulbs into our upper middle class sockets. Now I give to you this little treasure of generations past. Try not to burn the house down or light the dog on fire."

Each handcrafted light bulb lamp is an oil-burning reincarnation of a mini G16.5 incandescent bulb that has been magnet-mounted on a solid wood half-dome. The bulbs hold 2 ounces of lamp oil, which translates to approximately 5 hours of wick-lit chick lit, or a long, romantic dinner with Thomas Edison's ghost.

Eco-friendly Recycled Light Bulb Oil Lamps measure approximately 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 high, and sit on bases 2 wide by 7/8 high. They are carefully wrapped and double boxed to ensure safe delivery, and come with complete instructions for use, as well as an extra wick and funnel for easy filling. Lamp oil is not included, and the vendor recommends not using kerosene to light your fire. Liquid Paraffin oil works best, though Danish Clean Green Oil and Depeche Mode can also ignite the flame with reasonable success.
