Sportnoculars - Hands-Free Binocular Glasses
Sportnoculars. A pair of hands-free binocular glasses that will make me look just as cool as that portmanteau word sounds. But if they work OK, hey. I don't mind looking like Doktor Opto if it means I can see everything from the nosebleed seats without holding my arms up and hands in front of my face for 3 hours straight.
Sportnoculars glasses magnify your view up to 3 times, and could make fine companions at sporting events, concerts, and on nature tours such as whale or bird watching. People with poor vision can also wear Sportnoculars to watch TV.
The lenses allow for a 0+/-3 diopter adjustment without prescription glasses, but if you need more magnification, you can also wear prescription glasses under Sportnoculars.
For comfort and to keep them secure on your head, Sportnoculars have silicone nose and ear keepers, side shades, and a neck strap. They also have an aluminum frame whose weight is just under 2.5 ounces. But the eyepieces and lenses themselves are probably much heavier, and some reviewers note the binocular glasses can feel heavy after extended wear.
