Nintendo Switch Labo Kits
I think I'll focus on the "+" designation in the Nintendo Labo Robot Kit for Switch's suggested age range of "6+." Both it and the Labo Variety Kit are set to release on April 20, 2018, and even though they're seemingly geared toward children, I'm pretty sure building a cardboard robot costume, sticking a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controller inside, and then wearing it to smash buildings in a video game is an activity members of many generations can enjoy.
Nintendo Labo Kits are DIY cardboard accompaniments to the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo, the clever devil, calls the robots, fishing rods, keyboards, and RC cars you'll build in your Labo "Toy-Con" because they all pair with Joy-Con controllers to function within the Nintendo Switch system. (Note: The Nintendo Switch system is required to use Labo Kits, and sold separately.)
Labo Robot and Variety Kit cardboard arrives pre-cut and ready for assembly with interactive instructions. And since nothing in the craft would provides a better medium than cardboard, finished creations are fully customizable with markers, stickers, paint, and, ohhhh yeeeeahhhh, glitter (sold separately here).
