In Tokaido, board game designer Antoine Bauza takes his award-winning artwork skills to Japan's East Sea Road. Two to five travelers will journey along the undulating road in hopes of discovery its treasures and natural marvels. They say Takaido is "easy to learn, difficult to master." Just like chopsticks.

Tokaido is a strategy game. Players devise ways to meet new people, taste fine meals, collect beautiful items, and visit temples and wild places along their journey. Ultimately, they are competing to experience the most of what the East Sea Road has to offer.

Tokaido also comes in a digital edition, available on the iOS App Store and Google Play, if you want to take the competition to your smartphone or tablet. Gameplay is recommended for ages 8 and up, and both families and experienced gamers.
