No pips? No pips?! Nope, no pips. Just the smooth, handsome richness of the hardwoods William Manke uses to craft his Genius Dice.

Manke, an independent sculptor and woodworker, has taken a proverbial roll of the dice here in creating 6-sided gaming pieces whose numerical indicators are artfully-arranged pieces of wood rather than dots or digits. Genius Dice consist of 3 different types of hardwood arranged in varying patterns on each side. Count the color / shape / positioning contrasts to know what you've rolled.

In addition to his Genius Dice, Manke also hand-builds terrific wood bagatelle games and pinball machines.
