The Load Trainer
Check It Out

I've seen human pack mules, but before the Load Trainer I'd never seen human weight racks. In this military-meets-Crossfit piece of fitness equipment, Innovative Performance mounts a weight plate post attachment to an A.L.I.C.E. pack frame. The result, true to its name, is a trainer that trains by loading up your load.

The Load Trainer comes with both the removable post and the pack frame. The latter will be an authentic US military issue, retired from service, and therefore lightly used. A.L.I.C.E. also includes a kidney pad and shoulder straps, and the Load Trainer all necessary mounting hardware.

Load Trainers give athletes the benefit of precision, enabling them to carry an exact amount of weight during hikes, runs, or those horrible stair climber sessions I see dudes prepping for backpacking trips doing at the gym. In addition to piling on and tracking pounds down to the ounce, using a Load Trainer eliminates the need to shove a bunch of random shit in an actual bag and try to balance it on a scale for weight checks.

Unloaded, the Load Trainer weighs 6-1/2 pounds, 10 when mounted to the A.L.I.C.E. frame.
