Fronteer Aqua Solo Sneakers
A shoe for the postmodern athlete, Fronteer's Aqua Solo sneakers mash up elements of water shoes, hiking boots, and climbing shoes into their laceless, low-top, hiker-style form. And the sneaks' name and inspiration come from deep-water soloing, an extreme form of rock climbing wherein the human mountain goat maneuvers along his or her route dangling directly over water, no safety harness in sight.
Aqua Solo sneakers come in colors Grey Green, Blueway, and Red Relief, each available as a limited edition of 320 pairs. They feature full soft suede uppers, a micro-fiber suede sock cover, and double nylon adjustable velcro straps. Outsoles are Vibram Exmoors.
