Medieval Knight Hoodie

By: on September 09, 2012
Discontinued

See, chivalry isn't dead. It's just been co-opted by the hoodie-wearing hipster crowd. This Medieval Knight Hoodie drips of irony akin to permutations of the mustache, and trending fads akin to bacon two years ago. Thanks to HBO's condensing (and sexy treatment) of George R.R. Martin's eleven hundred million pages of detailed fantasy meanderings, Game of Thrones Chic is on the rise, and a hooded, 100% wool pullover now ranks right up there with disco balls and superheroes in the stylish threads department. Further proof that pop culture is about to go medieval on our ass: custom leather dragon masks for horses.

Though the wardrobe enhancer is made in South Korea, that's only because designer and fabricator Catherine Kim hails from and lives there, and handmakes every emulation of knight's armor she sells. The hoodie features an elasticized hem and cuffs, removable shoulder and elbow patches, and a front kangaroo pocket. Available sizes are S, M, L, XL, and 3XL. No 2XL. I guess once Koreans get beyond XL, they just figure "Fuck it" and head straight for morbidly obese.
