Bimek SLV - The Sperm Switch (NSFW)

By: on January 07, 2016

Condoms or Dr. Snip. It's slim pickin's for dudes in the contraception department. And condoms are kinda lame due to the whole desensitization thing. And a vasectomy is kinda lame due to the whole sterilization thing. The Bimek SLV, though? Not lame at all. Dubbed the "Sperm Switch," the Bimek SLV is a device currently in development that will give men complete control over their own fertility.

The Bimek SLV is a spermatic duct valve system that switches on during sexy time to inhibit the outflow of sperm (read: instant contraceptive; no one's getting pregnant), and then switches back off when the fun wraps up, returning sperm movement to normal. The result: a happy ending that stays happy because it doesn't result in 18 years of child support. Unless that's what you want. Unlike a vasectomy, the implanted Bimek SLV does not affect your fertility unless you flip it on, and does then only for the duration of valve blockage. Flip it back off and you're instantly back to your normal studly, seed-laden self. Here's how it works:

During a 30-minute outpatient surgery one Bimek valve is mounted on each of your spermatic ducts in the scrotum. A rocker switch is "installed" as well. When you toggle the switch on (just use your fingers), the valves block sperm cells (but not semen) from escaping, rendering you sterile. Temporarily. Completely temporarily. Flick the SLV on and off as you please (i.e., as you are being pleased) with no effect on fertility.

The Bimek SLV system is implanted for a lifetime of sperm-shooting self-regulation, and requires no supplemental use of hormones or medication for either men or women. It weighs 2 grams and is about the size of a gummy bear. While creator Clemens Bimek is still in the research stages of making the contraceptive available to consumers, they do have the product developed and produced, and are seeking some volunteer testes subjects to help prove its safety and effectiveness.
