Imagine how much stuff you could cram inside a TARDIS backpack. A laptop, a tablet, and an entire XBox. Enough gear and clothing for a 2-week backpacking trip through Nepal. At least 4 cases of beer plus, like, 20 pounds of weed. Genius!
The handmade British police box comes courtesy of Toronto student and bag hobbyist Lee, aka The Mad Boy with a Box. Huh. That has a nice ring to it. I think the next time I'm required to wear a name tag I'll fill it in as "The Mad Boy with a Box." Backpack TARDIS is made of blue vinyl fabric and lined with silver fabric. As per the original, it is powered by mercury, Zeiton 7, a trachoid time crystal, and the Eye of Harmony. Should one of these elements falter, so too will the bag, likely snapping its owner's back or sucking him/her into a black hole.
TARDIS has two clip-on straps at the back, plus attachments on the side for alternate use as a handbag. I measures 7" wide by 11" tall.
