Sealver Jet Ski Propelled Wave Boats
Sealver's jet ski propelled Wave Boats, like this inflatable speed boat, shake up the power boat scene with a neat twist on the vessel's design. Unlike the inflatable version, though, you'll be able to use more than a paddle and the grace of the gods of wind and currents to move your Wave Boat through the water. These babies are powered by jet skis.
Available in several sizes and models Sealver Wave Boats accommodate anywhere between 4 and 10 people, including the 2 to 4 who are sitting on the PWC driving the group. Boats are designed to kit up to your existing jet ski, with compatibility options available for Yamaha, Seadoo, and Kawasaki Ultra and 15F models.
The Sealver mid-size WB 525 Wave Boat is "familial and cozy" with a pair of back sunbeds and removable front table. It has Category C certification for use in both lakes and oceans. Level down to the smaller WB 444 or up to the luxe, 7-passenger 656.
Sealver also has a hybrid Z line that can latch onto either a jet ski or a HEVO hull with motor for power.
If you're wondering what happens when you're on a Wave Boat deck, and the cats on the jet ski driving it detach and take off to get their lake shenanigans on, well, remember that paddle and the grace of the gods of wind and currents I spoke of earlier?
Sealver sells its jet ski propelled Wave Boats only through dealers. I found one, AQAV out of San Diego, that has multiple models listed anywhere between $15,000 and $38,000.
