I saw some compact devices similar to PowerAll's portable car jump starter & power bank that claim to juice up a car battery from the comfort of my driver's seat. Just plug one in to the cigarette lighter, chill for 20 minutes, and then drive off with enough battery power to get back home where my mama can deal with having the car battery replaced. Basically, there are jump starters out there for people who have no clue how to jump start a car.

They all have terrible reviews.

PowerAll's palm-sized replenisher has terrific reviews. And while it does require me to get out of my vehicle and figure out how to hook up jumper cables, once I do, I get a full jump. If the PowerAll is completely charged, I can get 19 more jumps for nothing after that. Or I can use to charge my dead phone and camera during Cornelius' and my road trip to San Francisco to see the life-size Yoda fountain outside Lucasfilm headquarters. The bank of any kind of power you need also has an LED flashlight.

PowerAll device connectivity is via two 5V/2.1A USB ports that can charge 2 pieces of tech simultaneously. Jumper cables are included for car battery use.
