In New Orleans the holy trinity of cooking might be onion, bell pepper, and celery, but in Char-Broil's Big Easy the holy trinity of cooking is roasting, grilling, and smoking. Do them all with just one grill, and do them without charcoal, oil, and flare-ups thanks to the Big Easy's infrared heat tech.
As a grill the Big Easy has 180 square inches of stainless steel grate on its surface, designed to pair with the infrared system and cook food evenly. As a roaster it can hold up to a 25-pound turkey in its cooking basket, plus has a double-stack cooking option for smaller foods. All roasting items are loaded drop-in style, with no spit rod or other typical rotisserie accessories to hassle with. As a smoker, the Big Easy offers up an internal smoker box that takes up to 1/2 pound of wood chips or pellets without requiring air dampers or a water pan.
Char-Broil's TRU-infrared gas cooking system operates from 9,000 to 18,000 BTUs, and generates a minimum of 65% infrared heat. This is spread across the entire cooking surface--no hot or cold spots--in an effort to cook food evenly, and without drying it out or burning it.
The Big Easy grill itself has a porcelain-coated hood and cool-touch handles. Measurements are 18" x 24" x 36".
