Cave Tools believes their burger press to be a champion of Larger, Thicker & Juicier. The silicone mold has 6 slots for creating respectable 1/3-pound patties, plus a built-in burger dimpler to dig a divot in each that Cave Tools says is "scientifically proven to make sure your hamburgers stay flat and cook evenly."
What I mostly like about the Cave Tools press is that its double layer seals up for raw meat storage in the fridge while you're prepping other ingredients, or freezing on nights you don't want to eat 2 pounds of ground beef in one sitting. (The photo of the Cave Tools burger-pressed burger post-grilling suggests those nights will be few in my household.)
The burger press is dishwasher-safe. You can also use it to portion out and freeze soups, stews, and chili. The press comes with a recipe book filled with poems about dimpled burgers. Or maybe just recipes.
