Still stuck on a gift for Mom? Hosting a holiday party? Need a decently priced butler to hold stuff for you while you're cooking, and then again when you take the pan off the heat, and then again when you set the dish out on the table? Trivae is a kitchen tool with multiple functions intended to carry you through every step of the cooking and serving process.
At the stovetop, the double jointed Trivae stands upright to serve as an inverted lid holder so you don't have to set greasy, drippy pot tops directly on the the counter when you go in to add to your dish. Once the pot or pan is ready to leave the burner, you can compress the Trivae into a single, slightly elevated trivet, or stretch it long and lay it flat for use as either dual trivet, or a larger surface protector for hot casserole dishes from the oven. At the table or in a buffet line, set up the Trivae in either of its layouts as a display stand or tabletop trivet.
Trivaes are of a cast metal frame with heat-resistant silicone toppers (up to 475 degrees F) in black, red, blue, and green. In vertical "Z-Mode" they can hold lids and dishes weighing up to 10 pounds.
