This Two-Way Brewer gives me the option of making a 14-ounce cup of coffee just for me, or a whole 12-cup pot of coffee just for me when I'm really tired. Or really hungover. Or really constipated.
Hamilton Beach splits its coffee maker in half, with the right side percolating your standard carafe of black magic through one large reservoir, and the left dribbling out just enough for your travel mug through another, single-serve reservoir. In the same vein of keeping things simple to figure out, the Two-Way Brewer also has a single-serve side brew basket and detachable pod holder that fill with just enough grounds or a pre-packaged soft pod for the 14-ounce serving. It also accommodates a number of mug sizes with its adjustable cup rest.
A front control panel has selections for brew strength, Regular or Bold, plus hour/minute buttons for programmed brewing, and a programmable timer for shutoff. Automatic shutoff occurs after the machine has been on for 2 hours.
