Giveaway: The Man Ring

By: on January 06, 2014

Complement your fine motor exploits and turn Ringman into a finger-sized MacGyver! Enter to win the sleek and stealthy multi-tool Man Ring from Boone Rings (a $385 value)!

About Bruce Boone's Man Ring

In a class of its own, the Man Ring will prove as utilitarian as it will attention-grabbing. Tucked within its aerospace-grade titanium casing you'll find a crew of functional tools at your fingertips. (OK, third row of knuckles if you're being precise and persnickety.) These include:

  • A straight blade for deftly cutting packing tape or fishing line.
  • A serrated blade for grinding through nylon strapping or heat-sealed electronics packages.
  • A saw for gnawing plastic and wood.
  • A bottle opener for swift sodie access.
  • A comb for misplaced hairs of both face and head.

Boone custom machines Man Rings in their wearers' exact size, without altering the piece's overall width of 9mm. He brush finishes the exteriors, and polishes the interiors for comfort.

As their name suggests Man Rings are not toys, not for children, not for girls, and not for males who cried at Toy Story 3. Note: If you cried at Old Yeller or Brian's Song, you can still wear one.

Boone himself has been CNC-machining tools and jewelry since 1993. He currently works out of his shop in Georgia, collaborating on a variety of rings full-time with Steven Post and Chris Shepherd. His wife, Trish, handles the paperwork, finances, and shipping.
