Giveaway: Solar-Heated Road Shower

By: on July 14, 2014

Spray down your gear, spray down yourself, or "accidentally" miss both and spray down that fine-looking young lady walking by your car in the white T-shirt. Enter to win a rack-mounted, solar-heated Road Shower from Eartheasy! A $300 value!

This giveaway is open to US & Canada residents only.

About the Road Shower

Hoisted and mounted atop your personal Mystery Machine, the Road Shower will provide pressurized water wherever you travel. As you explore the great outdoors or work to solve baffling small-town crimes, the Road Shower absorbs the sun's rays, warming up so you'll always have a tank of hot water awaiting to clean off the sweat, dirt, and grime that returns to the car at the end of the day. With a 5-gallon capacity, the Road Shower will output enough water for 2 to 3 showers at solar-heated temperatures of 110 to 115 degrees F. The non-toxic tank can also be used to store cold drinking water and serve as an emergency water source.

The Road Shower's pressure pumps up to 15 PSI using a standard hand-powered CO2 bike pump, and it has up to a 60' trajectory at the peak of its 7 jet settings. As a safety precaution, the apparatus has a pressure relief valve that opens at 18 PSI.

The Road Shower's minimalist, space-saving design comes courtesy of powder-coated, high quality aluminum (1/10" thick walls) and a non-toxic, 55" food-grade hose. All mounting hardware is included in the shower package, and its mounting system fits almost all car and factory racks (e.g., Yakima, Thule).

In addition to showering, Eartheasy recommends the Road Shower for the following:

  • Gear cleaning
  • Unexpected messes
  • Fish/game cleaning
  • Washing the car
  • Cleaning the dishes
  • Washing hands or tools while working on your vehicle
