Qwerkywriter - Wireless "Typewriter" Keyboard Giveaway

QWERTY gets nostalgic. QWERTY gets clicky. QWERTY gets Qwerky. Click here and enter to win the Qwerkywriter, a typewriter-inspired wireless mechanical keyboard complete with vintage keycaps and a "clickety-clack" feel and sound. A $399 value from Qwerky Toys!

This giveaway is open to US residents only.

About the Qwerkywriter

We may worship the ease and efficiency of contemporary keyboards--I'd be working 18-hour days if it weren't for the Delete button and Crtl+Z--but you gotta admit, they lack the warmth and soul our parents' and grandparents' analog typewriters seemed to have. The Qwerkywriter seeks to bring back just a hint of yesterday--the audio-tactile connectedness and joy of use that make us nostalgic for typewriters--without sacrificing our modern-day typing amenities of hassle-free editing, digital saving, extensive font and layout options, and schlep-it-on-your-back portability.

The Qwerkywriter is an 83-key mechanical keyboard that looks and feels like an antique typewriter, but acts like a 21st-century technological wonder. It simulates the classics with throwback key caps that make "clicky" sounds during typing (listen to it fly here) and look like the ones Faulkner once used to weave the powerful tales of...all those books of his I haven't read. But the Qwerkywriter sends its letters to screen instead of paper, connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth to any compatible digital device (it even has an integrated tablet stand), and facilitating all of today's word processing functions we can no longer live without.

The Qwerkywriter pairs with iPhones, iPads, iMacs, MacPros, Macbooks, Android Tablets Devices, Windows Tablets, and any computer / tablet that has Bluetooth. Qwerkywriter features include:

  • Aluminum construction.
  • Built-in stand for holding tablets up to 10" wide and 5/8" thick.
  • Return Bar that defaults as ENTER, but also functions as a programmable key (up to 5 characters).
  • Rechargeable Lithium Ion battery via provided micro USB cable.
  • Up to 3 months of battery life per charge.

Qwerkywriter dimensions are 13" x 7" x 2.5". Weight is a little under 3 pounds.
