If, that is, you enter Dude's PS4 Giveaway and are drawn the winner of this most wanted video game console, in its Jet Black Launch Day Edition (a $400 value)!

Dude's PS4 Launch Day giveaway package includes: the PS4 system with a 500GB hard drive; a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller; a micro-USB cable for charging the DUALSHOCK 4 controller; a Mono-headset for voice chat; a power cable (1.5m); and an HDMI cable (2.0m).

Note: The PS4 Giveaway is open to US residents only. Apologies to our readers residing elsewhere.

About PlayStation 4

According to Sony, "the PlayStation 4 system was designed from the ground up to ensure that game creators can unleash their imaginations to develop the very best games and deliver new play experiences never before possible." Blah, blah, blah. The crux of it is, the PS4's processors are porn star fast, its memory Rain Main over-achieving and vast, and game graphics as rich and enamoring as sitting across the dinner table from Bill Gates and Kate Beckinsale. In her Underworld costume.

More specifically, PS4 braggin' rights include:

  • Personalized, Curated Content. The PS4 system is like that android Dorian from Almost Human. Based on your gameplay and activity, it will learn your preferences, your likes and dislikes, and then suggest and pre-load content it believes you may also be partial to directly onto its console. It can also show your friends' shared content and gameplay, plus their game, movie, and TV recommendations.
  • Play as You Download. For feature-enabled games, players can begin a download, and then begin to play as soon as a portion of the download is complete. The rest of the game continues to download unscathed in the background.
  • PlayStation App. This lets iPhone, iPad, and Android smartphones and tablets serve as second screens for the PS4 system. Once connected, users may view in-game items, purchase PS4 games, and download them directly to consoles at home. They can also remotely watch the gameplay of other players using their own consoles.
  • Complete Control. The DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller's familiar buttons and knobs incorporate new ways to interact with games and other players. The dual analog sticks and trigger buttons have been improved upon to deliver more user control, and the capacitive touch pad increases action possibilities during gameplay.

Check out the line of games that have been released so far for the PS4 here, as well as its compatible apps for streaming movies, videos, music, and the latest Japanese anime and Asian Drama [??? but OK!!!] right here.
