Giveaway: Kelty Ascender 22 Modular Luggage

By: on March 17, 2014

Last summer, outdoor commandos Kelty introduced the Ascender series of luggage. Their Ascender 22, a modular traveler's and backpacker's bag with detachable chassis, expands from a 40-liter carry-on size to a 55-liter checked bag size, and then again to a 70-liter Man Size. And now you can enter to win the Kelty Ascender 22, the One Bag needed cover all of your travel and trekking needs (a $350 value)!

This giveaway is open to US residents only.

About Kelty Ascender 22 Modular Luggage

Versatile enough to cover all of your travel needs, the Ascender 22 bag adapts from a weekender's backpack to the only piece of luggage you'll need on your 2-week tear through Thailand. (Demure Yet Eager Women Who Don't Speak English + Panang Curry = Summer of Champions.) It's also aesthetically tidy and stylish in its gray, black, or brown color schemes, so you'll look classy even when lost and knocking into people on the unmarked, unending streets of Bangkok.

The Ascender 22's body fabric is made of 1280D ballistic Polyester, and the packbag features:

  • A length expansion with divider
  • A depth expansion
  • A wide 'U' opening
  • A zip-open divider
  • Padded bottom, sides, and top
  • Hide-away shoulder straps
  • Internal compression
  • A stash pocket

Aluminum external chassis features include:

  • Detachability
  • Expandable length
  • Ability to accommodate multiple packbags (sold separately)
  • Single extension handle with multiple positions
  • Inline skate wheels
  • Carry-on compatibility

In its most compact form, Kelty's Ascender 22 measures 23" long x 14" wide x 9" deep. It weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces.
