About Sierra Designs' DriDown Zissou 6 Sleeping Bag

Unlike standard down mummy wraps, Sierra Designs' DriDown Zissou 6 sleeping bag is filled with 30 ounces of feathered friend under-fluff for superior insulation, higher loft, and, most importantly, fast drying in wet and wintery conditions.

DriDown begins as regular down, but pre-stuffing each individual plume receives a molecular level polymer treatment to create a hydrophobic finish. In other words, it gets zapped with a water-resistant force field that rejects the infiltration of water like Moses walking into the Red Sea. Or at least better than untreated gear. The Zissou 6 is designed both to stay dry longer and get dry faster than other down fills, the effect of which keeps its occupants warmer in any environment.

The sleeping bag has a rated temperature low for comfort of 19 degrees F, and a usage lower limit of 6 degrees F. It measures 78" long and weighs just over 3 pounds.
