By: on March 10, 2014

Seven-point-nine inches. It's a respectable length in some areas of life. In the tablet world though, 7.9" is a Mini. And more than respectable. By many, Mini is coveted. If you're one of the covetous, click here and enter to win a 32 GB iPad Mini with Retina Display (a $500 value)!

This giveaway is open to US residents only.

About the 32 GB iPad Mini with Retina Display

Supercomputers-->desktops-->laptops-->tablets-->iPad Mini. They may not be interchangeable, but given the exponential reduction in computer size over the last 2 decades, the power we can now hold in one hand and wield with the other is nothing short of incredible. Apple's iPad Mini, version 32 GB with retina display, brings the following tech to your fingertips:

  • Mini-ness. 7.9" long x 5.3" wide x 0.29" thick, with a weight of only 11.7 ounces.
  • An A7 chip with 64-bit architecture. Up to 4 times faster CPU and up to 8 times faster graphics performance than the previous iPad generation.
  • An M7 motion coprocessor assigned exclusively to collect data from the iPad's gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass. It offloads work from the A7 so apps can adapt their functions without sucking energy from the master chip.

3.1 million pixels of visuals. With retina display, the Mini carries a 2048 x 1536 resolution.

  • An average battery life of 10 hours.
  • iOS 7 operating system.
  • 2 antennas and MIMO technology for twice the Wi-Fi performance as its predecessor.
  • A 5-megapixel iSight camera and a FaceTime HD camera with an upgraded sensor for clearer video calls.
