We need way more products like PocketStrings. Products that allow people to do things that would normally disturb me without disturbing me. The Baby Muzzle was a good start. Now this portable, silent guitar practice tool. Next, how about a car alarm that blares at 115 decibels only in the ears of the vehicle's owner?
The PocketStrings case houses a small section of guitar neck with real frets and strings to facilitate practicing chords or keeping idle hands off the devil's playground in places filled with people who do not want to hear your badass rearrangement of "Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard". Here are some examples of these types of places:
- On the bus.
- In the airport.
- At the library.
- In the waiting room
- At the coffee shop.
- On the street corner.
- At open mic night.
In addition to strings and frets (available in 4- and 6-fret models), the portable guitar practice tool also has a strum pad for rhythm. Strings are both adjustable and replaceable. Closed, the PocketStrings box measures 8" x 2" x 1", and open it lengthens to 13-1/4".
Muchas danke to Bless This Stuff.
