Gincredible Dipper - Gin Fun Dip
I have a lot of good news and a lot of bad news about the Gincredible Dipper, basically a take on Fun Dip that incorporates real, boozy elderflower gin in gel form. Let's start with the good.
Uh, it's Gin Fun Dip. You get a kit with a lollipop, a gin-based gel to squeeze on it, and a "sherbet" packet filled with sweet 'n' sour citrus powder to dunk it in. An edible gin & tonic that will make you feel like a kid again. Especially if you used to get drunk on gin & tonics as a kid.
Another bit of good surrounding the Gincredible Dipper is that in reading about it on Firebox, a UK-based retailer, I learned over there they call Fun Dip "Dip Dab," which pretty much made my day, since in the US one of those words references chewing tobacco and the other marijuana. Oh those Brits!
Now for the bad news. First, yes, the gin gel is legit adults-only alcohol, but each Gincredible Dipper doesn't come with that much of it, and the contents are only 10% ABV, so consuming it will probably give you more of a tingle than a buzz.
Also, at printing Firebox couldn't ship the Gincredible Dipper to US.
