Robotics is a fun hobby...if you know how to do robotics. For those of us who don't, SainSmart's 4WD Arduino Robot Car is an approachable introduction to the field, and could be your gateway drug to total robotics addiction.

The DIY fat wheel platform helps beginners learn the basics of robotics while putting together a funky, functional robotic car. The set's MEGA 2560 microcontroller board controls the car while connected to a computer, and its Arduino Sensor Shield can connect to modules such as sensors, servos, relays, buttons, and potentiometers.

Robot Car parts include the SainSmart MEGA 2560 and Sensor Shield module V5, plus the SainSmart 4WD drive aluminum mobile car robot platform, L298N Dual H bridge DC motor driver, and ultrasonic module HC-SR04 distance sensor. Get the set for 18% off retail value for a limited time.
