NODE+ Custom Sensor Platform

By: on June 18, 2014

Get your NODE+, a highly versatile and customizable sensor, for a very limited time at $20 off retail value from the Dude Exclusives online store!

The NODE+ wireless sensor platform is an all-in-one sensing device that can give students, teachers, business execs, and bored, yet strapping, men who live with their mamas better ways to track otherwise unknown data streams. A single palm-sized tube, the NODE+ makes easy work of applying different sensors to a range of activities with its "snap-and-go" sensor inserts and multi-tracking capabilities. NODE+ is one tiny module able to measure a host of different quantities.

NODE+ works via Bluetooth 4.0 with both iOS and Android smart devices, plus their corresponding apps, to detect data ranging from a weight lifter's form to the climate and location of freight during shipments, to precise colors and palettes for art and home decorating projects.

The collection of NODE+ sensors and their applications continues to grow, particularly in educational and business fields. The starter package offered here includes a white NODE sensor base unit with 2 interchangeable sensor ports and a USB charging cable. The base unit is fitted with an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer; additional sensor modules are purchasable through NODE creator Variable's Website.

The NODE+ can transmit data over approximately 250' and has an onboard storage capacity if 16MB.
