REI gets into the wearable sleeping bag business with their new vowel-hating product line, evrgrn. The versatile evergrn Crash Sack combines the full body warmth and comfort of a standard sleep sleeve with the full body access and unconstricted movement of a puffy coat. Users can sit or snooze in the Crash Sack fully zipped, or release their arms and feet through built-in openings when it's time to eat Ramen or evict tent snakes.

The bottom of the Crash Sack unzips to your desired exposure level, and then clips up out of the way for walking. Arm holes give hands free access to the coffee maker, while a set of front pockets provide an alternative to warming them back up inside the cocoon. A full hood caps the sleeping bag's stick it in, or whip it out design.

An REI exclusive, evrgrn Crash Sacks are stuffed with lightweight synthetic insulation rated for warmth in summer and fall nighttime temperatures of down to 45 degrees. Short (72"), Regular (78"), and Long (84") sizes are available. For space-conscious backpackers and festival goers the bags stuff easily into an included 14" x 7" carry sack.
