Orange is the new green...er. Though Suaoki's lantern also comes in green, so I guess green is the new greener too. You can turbocharge this portable light with a micro USB cable, or let the sun drive its glow via the 3 solar panels on its leaves.
In an equal parts functional and clever twist, Suaoki also designed its lantern like a clover that "blooms" with light during use, and then closes back up for compact and durable transport. Open, you can hang the lantern (hidden hook included) from a tent ceiling or tree branch for a full spread of light, or stand it on its base in multiple positions. Each lampshade is also independently adjustable.
The lantern has 3 lighting modes: high; low; and SOS blinking. A full micro USB charge takes around 3-1/2 hours, and returns 2 hours of high or 4 hours of low / flash level lighting. Each hour of solar charging returns 15 minutes of high or 30 minutes of low level light. Clover dimensions are 5.9" in diameter closed, 11.47" open. Length is quoted as "shorter than an iPhone 6." Weight is 0.37 pounds.
