While a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder Cheese Grater might seem like a clever adaptation of an iconic comic book / cartoon villain, the reverse is actually true too. According to Wikipedia, TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman used trapezoidal cheese graters as inspiration for the Shredder's armor, specifically envisioning them as the evil dude's arms. His partner, Peter Laird, then suggested the name "The Shredder" to match.
Rather than just his arms, this cheese grater encompasses the Shredder's entire body, and is topped by his helmeted head. Like most 4-sided cheese graters, the TMNT Shredder Cheese Grater has different cutouts on each side for shredding small and large, as well as grating and slicing.
