Obviously the most important element of tailgating is drinking. No one ever forgets to bring beer to the tailgate. Or the picnic. Or the post-outdoor-adventure celebration. We do, however, sometimes forget chairs. Or we use the storage space intended for chairs to hold more beer. Take-A-Seat, with anticipated delivery set for the height of tailgating season, hitches to a truck, SUV, or trailer to provide simple, foldable bench accommodations for pregame partiers, car campers, star gazers, or any kind of butts standing around outside that decide they would kind of like to...take a seat.
To increase functionality, Take-A-Seat makers Pat and Vickie Rock also designed their hitch attachment to serve as a carrier while en route. Bungee up coolers, portable grills, bikes, the 4th kid who's too chubby to cram in the back, and free up space inside the car for more fragile and important items, such as Larry the golden doodle.
Take-A-Seat runs as a Kickstarter campaign through August 25, 2013.
