Blackouts and blacking out typically carry negative connotations, but they are responsible for a better experience during one event: bedtime. Sleepout is a portable blackout curtain its creators say installs over any window in seconds, and blocks 100% of the light that could otherwise seep in - be it from the sun, street and traffic lights, or some a-hole sitting in his car at 3 a.m., headlights on and pointed directly at your bedroom window.

Sleepout curtains are made with OEKO-TEX Certified blackout fabric, and secure to windows with a combination of industrial-strength locking suction cups and reusable Sleepout Pads. The cups attach to window panes, and are designed with a sloped shape to prevent light bleeds at the top of the Sleepout curtain. The Pads are "an exclusive new adhesive technology" that isn't tape or tack, but will stick residue-free to any surface, including wood, drywall, glass, concrete, and fabric. Use the Sleepout Pads to secure your blackout curtains sides and, if necessary, bottom.

Sleepout Curtains measure 54" x 78" apiece, and can be used in multiples to cover larger windows. They weigh 1.5 pounds and fold up to the size of a paperback book, plus come with a carry bag if you want to use them in hotels or your mother-in-law's east-facing guest room outfitted with pink gauze curtains.
