With Shun Cutlery's Premier line of Japanese chef's knives, you have the choice of a 6", 8", or 10" kitchen co-pilot to help you in your slicing and dicing endeavors. All 3 share the Shun marks of agile and lightweight performance and, with their PakkaWood handles and hammered blades, eye-catching elegance.
Shun cutlery Premier chef's knives are all handcrafted in Seki City, Japan using a 100+-step process. Several of these steps entail an "exacting" heat treatment effort, or heating and cooling the steel blades to create a strong and hard microstructure that still allows for thin, sharp, light knives with longer-lasting edges.
The 6", 8", and 10" Shun Premier chef's knives are all sold solo, with the option of adding a knife sharpener to your purchase.
