Beam yourself up with a few Rustic Beams from Ornamental Moulding & Millwork. The hollow wood beams are lightweight, self-install options for people wanting to add some architectural interest and old world appeal to ceilings in their home.
Rustic Beams are made of real wood and come in 8' lengths of Ambrosia Maple or Prefinished Gray colors. They're 5" wide, and you have a choice of 3" or 5" in height. U-shaped and hollow, the beams are easier for DIY-ers to manage and hang without the help of a contractor, and light enough that they shouldn't create excessive loads on your existing structure.
Ornamental Mouldings & Millwork includes mounting plates and hardware needed for beam installation with orders. If you want to up the ante, black wrought iron decorative brackets are optional add-on purchases. To install the Rustic Beams you'll need to measure your space, settle on a design, and cut the wood to size before affixing the mounting plates and hanging.
