Twistep - Truck or SUV Hitch Step for Dogs
Dogs young and old can benefit from the graduated entry the hitch-connected Twistep provides into the back of your truck or SUV. In addition to making it easer for pups to access their go-for-a-ride spot, the Twistep's lower height reduces stress on their joints - growing hips and elbows for young dogs, and arthritic or otherwise sore joints and muscles for the older guys.
Twisteps also support up to 400 pounds of weight, so humans can stand on it too when they need to access the roof of their vehicle, or give an acceptance speech at the tailgate after winning the Chili Cookoff.
Sold in separate truck and SUV models, the Twistep attaches to a vehicle's hitch receiver, and stores under the bumper when not in use. It swivels out into a couple of different positions when you need it.
Truck Twisteps fit any truck with a 2" receiver hitch. The SUV version fits most SUVs with 1.25" and 2" hitches, with the (known) exception of the 2019 Subaru Ascent.
